Real-life interrupted the story.
Now…
I’m writing through the return.
I was an author. Then real life got loud enough to swallow the part of me that knew how to be one.

“Where are my characters?”
“This is a whole timeline. This isn’t just one story that I’m telling”
“I don’t hear any stories. All I hear is my own.”
“The cup wanted to go.”
“We would have so much fun doing absolutely nothing”
